I’ve not shared here yet that back in March, soon after the start of the stay-at-home order, I began going down to the garage at my apartment in Denver to record absurd, silly “reviews” of VHS tapes as a way to let off some steam and have a little fun under the moniker “The VHS Boy” (this all started on Instagram @thevhsboy) It’s been an enjoyable outlet to not only talk about the films I’ve actually been watching—often seeing them for the first time—but an ironic, unfiltered outlet through which to speak with biting clarity, satire and humor about the worst parts of what is happening in the world today.
